Being a part of Studio Andino-'17 at Iowa State, I was involved in the design-built past few days in one of the informal neighborhoods here at Lima, Peru. It feels special when the community engages and puts their contribution to the process of making this social space more vibrant and participatory. Particularly in these informal neighborhoods where multiple barriers work in a complex manner. Really excited to see the outcome of our extensive hard work of five days design-built studio. #studioandino2017
